One lakh of rupees were carried by a man who was shot dead during a joint meeting at Tirhar in Shahjahanpur late Wednesday by UP STF and local police.

He was rushed to hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
Shahjahanpur police officer Ashok Kumar Meena said, “The encounter took place by UP STF in Tilhar where Shahnoor alias Shanu, a notorious criminal of Sambhal, was killed. Policemen had tortured women sexually before carrying out attacks confirmed sources. He committed offenses like this. They sought assistance from the STF for about two-and-a-half months to capture him. His last robbery occurred in Moradabad’s Mainathur area where he raped a woman too”.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police cell (SSP), Bareilly Abdul Qadir: “Sanur is Usman’s right-hand person who belonged to an infamous gang of dacoits. We have registered a case against him for absconding at Manassar police station in the district and we are looking for him.”
