The FORDA’s Letter to Federal Health Minister JP Nada
A sophomore student of the RG Kar Medical College in Kolkata was found dead sexually assaulted inside a seminar room at the institution, according to police reports. The half naked body of this victim had blood stains and other signs suggesting that she had been violently treated before her death.
Someone believed to be directly involved in the crime and an outsider with access to the hospital facilities was arrested by police. There are ongoing investigations into these allegations as police now interrogate two interns concerning this incident.
It has been confirmed by autopsy report that sexual assault preceded his murder thereby intensifying calls for justice.
