Chennai: A total of 200 and ten passengers who bought flight ticketsto arrive at London and British Airways Returning to the airport in the early hours of Thursday morning, alternative arrangements had to be made as the airline’s flight to Chennai experienced a technical glitch in mid-air and returned to London.
The British Airways Flight was expected to land in Chennai at 3.30 am and then fly from here to this at 5.30 am but experienced some technical failure after it took off from London with 240 passengers on board.
The technical team confirmed that the issue could not be resolved immediately; hence, the flight was cancelled after returning to London.
Around 3am, 210 passengers waiting at the Chennai airport knew that their flight was cancelled and rescheduled for Friday. Some other travelers took other flights to London through Dubai, Doha, and Abu Dhabi while others were forced into adjacent hotels.
