Farooq Abdullah, the leader of the National Conference, sent out a cryptic message on Tuesday saying “everybody should learn a lesson” dictator. “Faced with public anger. The former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Mentioned the upcoming crisis in West Bengal Sheikh Hasina’s suggestion and no Muslim Oppression in the world so she had to save her life.
The recently concluded elections were won by our opposition and this is victory over dictatorship – that was what their leader believed. “What we have seen is an uprising of students nobody can control not even their army let alone somebody else, it’s a lesson.”
According to Farooq Abdullah: “One has this feeling that they must speak up against the oppression being meted out on Muslims across the globe…. She (Sheikh Hasina) would have been killed if she had not run away from there.”
Modi government 3.0 is being chased by a three-time prime minister led party as much as it can. Even National Congress Leader, Omar Abdullah spoke about how PPP rallies are allowed while restrictions are placed on those who differ.
“That’s democracy & freedom of speech in J&K,” he commented as ruling party celebrated but opposition leaders were blocked.
Earlier today, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar hoped for “unanimous support” across party lines for the all-party meeting convened by Modi 3.0 government to bring them up to speed on Bangladesh which has descended into chaos with massive street protests against job quotas that made Sheikh Hasina resign and flee her country.
Currently Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expelled is in an undisclosed location somewhere in India and according to media reports will soon fly to London.
In addition, Jaishankar told leaders during a meeting that central government had come into contact with Bangladesh Army and promised that when time comes they will take appropriate action aimed at protecting best interests of the state.
Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, and AICC president KC Venugopal attended the meeting. As well as representatives from central government including Union Home Minister Amit Shah Defense Minister Rajnath Singh BJP President JP Nadda and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju were present at the meeting also.
