New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal has expressed serious concern over recurring bomb threats in schools in the national capital.
He highlighted the potential psychological and academic impact on students, warning that such incidents could disrupt their education and mental health.
“This is the second time this week that a Delhi school has received a bomb threat and the situation is extremely serious and worrying. If this continues, how much impact will it have on the children? What will happen to their learning?” Kejriwal on X release.
Several schools in Delhi received bomb threats via email on Friday, prompting security protocols to be immediately activated.
The affected schools include Bhatnagar Public School in Paschim Vihar, Cambridge School in Srinivaspuri, Delhi Public School in Kailash East, Delhi Public School in Defense Colony, Delhi Police Public School in Safdarjung Enclave and Venkatesh Public School in Rohini.
The threatening email stated: “This email is to inform you that there are a lot of explosives in your school building. I believe you will not check the students’ school bags frequently when they enter the school building. In response, Delhi Fire Brigade and Police teams quickly conducted a thorough search of the school premises to ensure the safety of students and staff. After a thorough investigation, authorities confirmed that nothing suspicious was found.

The incident follows a similar incident on December 8, when more than 40 schools in Delhi received bomb threats via email.
