“Emami’s completion of the acquisition of Helios will strengthen its position in the fast-growing digital-first premium male grooming segment,” the company said.
Emami previously acquired a 33.09% stake in Helios in two tranches, one in December 2017 and the other in February 2019.
The Man Company is a digital-first lifestyle brand offering premium men’s grooming products in categories including fragrance, skin care, hair care, body care and beard management.
“This segment offers huge potential for innovation and growth. Emami is already an active player in the male grooming space through its brand Fair and Handsome,” the statement said.
The Kolkata-based company said male grooming products in India are rapidly gaining traction, driving impressive market growth.

Earlier this month, Emami chairman RS Goenka said at the company’s annual shareholder meeting that it will continue to explore inorganic and strategic growth opportunities and enter new product categories.
Emami, which has acquired AloFrut, Creme21 and Zandu in the past, will continue to explore such growth opportunities, allowing it to enter new market segments and expand its gaming universe.
Emami said in its latest annual report that 45% of its FY24 revenue came from acquired brands, with the proportion of revenue from non-rural areas increasing.
Emami, which owns brands like Navratna, Boroplus, Zandu, Fair and Handsome, Kesh King and Dermicool, had a turnover of Rs 2,921.57 crore in FY24.
