Music icon Elton John explained that his eye is ‘very limited’ after being diagnosed with an eye condition. The latter follows the surgery which Elton John as a singer-songwriter has needed for knee replacements back in January.
As said by John who made the update in an Instagram post yesterday night, it will take a while to recover more vision on the affected eye even though the patient is on the path of healing.
I have been suffering from a bad eye infection for several weeks already. And I must say this may be making it harder for me to see out of one of my eyes.
I am getting better, but it is such a slow process that I will take a while before more sight returns to the affected eye, the 77-year-old lamented.
The said pianist has some hit songs “rocket man”, “little dancer”, “your song”, which are well known for his chorus with the words saying thank you to all healthcare providers and relatives inspiring and supporting them.
Speaking with emotion, he said: “I want to express my deep gratitude to the wonderful doctors and nurses who worked with me, and to my family who looked after me during the last few weeks.”
He added: ” As for I have been staying at home for the last week rather quietly, recovering from the illness, I am quite positive as to how much progress I have been able to make so far in terms of my recovery, and recovery.”
John recently revealed that an ‘Elton John: It’s Never Too Late’ Record will be available tipped for a release in December.
