Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met CEOs and business leaders in Sydney on Thursday during an official visit to Australia. He highlighted the potential of India and Australia to support each other’s economic growth.
“Meeting CEOs and business leaders in Sydney today is a good start,” Jaishankar said on social media platform Complementarity between India and Australia to support each other’s growth.
He further added: “Our strong commercial and investment ties are a key driver of our comprehensive strategic partnership.”
The Minister also interacted with the Indian diaspora, Members of Parliament and Friends of India at the NSW Parliament in Sydney. He expressed his gratitude to the Indian community and said: “Thank you to the Indian community for its positive contribution in promoting the India-Australia partnership.”
In addition, Jaishankar also participated in discussions with foreign affairs and strategy experts from the Lowy Institute, an independent think tank in Sydney.
