SRK Rajkumar Hiraniofslam dunk-reprises his role in the film; he and Deven Bhojani had worked together before. The moment Dheeraj said that it was a 1990s movie that featured Shah Rukh Khan as its lead, Deven admitted that he did not want to work with Shah Rukh around then in the 1990s because he heard “negative things” about him.

Deven Bhojani shares his experience of working with Shah Rukh Khan while being interview by Rakesh Maheshwari. He was an SRK’s buddy when the actor played as Geeta Washi Sikander in a certain film. He listens somewhere that this guy is fresh and arrogant, and he hears some nasty words about SRK from another person named Devin… Dilip Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan during the interview. There were other actors whom Devon introduced himself to on their first day but found it hard approaching Shah Rukh. And Devon thought “I’ll keep this my secret.”

Deven Bhojani talks about a moment when Shah Rukh Khan approached him during the initial days of their joint film-making career. As Devin recollects, Shahrukh came up to him greeting “Hi, I’m Shahrukh You did very well in Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar.” Devin was shock to know that Srk knows his name, Soon after Devin knew that Srk liked this film a lot so he asked Mansoor Khan who was directing the movie for all actors’ names.

The movie they worked on together was filmed in 1994 but released only in 2004. That’s how much they went over the past! At first, they called each other ‘Shahrukh’ and ‘Devon’, then Shahrukh started calling Devon ‘Mr Devon’ on day two.

Shah Rukh explained that everybody else calls Devin “Mr. Devin” and he doesn’t want to be different. However, Devin did not understand why Shah Ruch calls him Mr Devin because they were friends years ago and he never called SRK “Mr Shah Rukh”. Despite that, Shahrukh was always very friendly and warm towards Devin.
