Kejriwal and Sisodia challenged the trial court’s decision to admit the charges and the subsequent order of September 17.
Notably, the Supreme Court on September 13 granted bail to Arvind Kejriwal in a case filed by the CBI regarding the now-abandoned GST policy.
The case is part of an investigation into alleged irregularities in Delhi’s excise duty policy, which was scrapped in 2022 following a directive from the Lieutenant Governor to CBI inquiry.
Both the CBI and ED claimed that the policy had been modified to provide undue benefits to liquor license holders.
