CHENNAI: Chennai and adjoining areas experienced strong winds and heavy rains, cyclone styler towards tamil nadu coastal.
S Balachandran, deputy director of the Regional Meteorological Centre, said the cyclone is likely to pass over the land near Puducherry later tonight. “It is currently moving at a speed of 10 kilometers per hour and is located 100 kilometers southeast of Chennai. Its speed will slow down as it approaches the coast and makes landfall,” he said.
