Mumbai: Launching scathing attack on Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi Maharashtra Chief Minister expresses reservations in US Eknath Shinde Wednesday said his views reflected his narrow-mindedness congress People are used to doing politics in the name of religion and caste.

The tweet added, “Spreading confusion about the Constitution and reservations has become their fashion. Rahul Gandhi’s anti-reservation face is now in front of the world. Earlier in the day, Federal Minister Amit Shah Slammed Lok Sabha Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi for his “reserved” remarks in the United States.
Shah said it had become a habit for Congress leaders to side with “forces conspiring to divide the country”. Shah also said, bjp No one will be allowed to abolish reservations and impede national security. Shah further claimed that Rahul Gandhi’s remarks were indicative of his divisive policies.
Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha on Monday said the Congress party would consider scrapping reservations when India becomes a “fair place”, but that is not the case. The congressional leader was interacting with students and faculty at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
He also reiterated the need for a caste census while saying that 90 per cent of the country’s population – OBCs, Dalits and Adivasis – were not properly represented in the country, which was the “elephant in the room”.
“There’s an elephant in the room. When we talk about the capture of institutions, corporates and the media, the elephant in the room is that 90 per cent of Indians – OBCs, Dalits, Adivasis – are not even part of the game part.
The Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha further stressed that the Indian bloc wanted to defend the constitution and that most alliance partners agreed to hold a caste census, adding that “two businessmen” should not run all businesses in the country.
