Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami Met the Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari in New Delhi on Thursday. The meeting aimed at reinforcing road connectivity to existing and new projects In the state of Uttarakhand.
The chief minister stressed that department secretaries and department heads will be held accountable for any slackness in departmental work in future. The CM said that if there is lackadaisical attitude from top management to bottom, then heads shall roll including district Magistrates.
Dhami has issued strict instructions to department officials seeking clarification from those who have not logged into the CM helpline portal for the past one month. In cases where satisfactory reasons are not provided, action will be taken against the incumbent person.
In addition, Dhami also requested Ministry of Finance and other concerned agencies to take up the proposed Dehradun-Mussoorie expressway as part of Vision 2047 planning besides final endorsement of Afzalgarh-Baguwala bypass idea.
Earlier in a day, Chief Minister Dhami directed officials through virtual media while reviewing CM Helpline at Uttarakhand Sadan, New Delhi to ensure timely disposal of all complaints received by CM Helpline within 15 days pending complaints should be resolved by next fifteen days was solved.
Outstanding complaints must be actively resolved within the next 15 days.
