Raipur: DipanshnetamTribal athletes from Chhattisgarh win gold medal in 32nd Olympic Games 2024 National Youth Fencing Championships In the foil competition held in Patna, Bihar from December 2 to 5, she defeated Haryana’s Prachi 15-13 in a tight match to win the title.
En route to the final, Dipansh displayed exceptional skills, defeating Delhi’s Mehra Eva (15-04), Maharashtra’s Bojane Kanak (15-04) 10), Rufus Anja of Kerala (15-04) and Kanupriya of Haryana (15-10). She then defeated Kerala’s S Joyece Asthita 15-13 in the semi-finals to advance to the final.
Dipanshi’s impressive competitive record includes a silver medal at the 31st National Junior Championships in Raipur and a bronze medal at the 33rd National Senior Championships in Assam. Additionally, she won a silver medal 2024 BRICS Games in Kazanan international multi-sport event.
