Tadpalli, the Guntur district of the YSR Congress Partycentral office under construction used to be demolished On Saturday morning, municipal authorities were charged with Illegal construction. The demolition drive was condemned by Jagan Mohan Reddy, the party’s secretary, who blamed it on TDP-led government and said that it was done in blatant disregard of High Court order.
He criticized illegitimate actions committed in the state by NDA government that involves People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Janasena. He believes this means that will mark next five years of Naidu’s rule.
“Chandrababu took vendetta politics to the next level. Like a dictator, he demolished the YSRCP’s central office with excavators and bulldozers and it was almost done,” Reddy said in a post on X Zhong said.
The demolition work began around 5:30 am as stated in a YSRCP statement. “Demolition continued despite YSRCP going to High Court yesterday i.e Friday CRDA (capital region development agency).” The statement added.
According to a party lawyer, an order stopping any further demolitions had been communicated to the CRDA Commissioner by court; this is what YSRCP noted. Nonetheless, CRDA proceeded with its process despite this information, an action which according to YSRCP amounted to contempt of court.
Reddy said: “We shall continue fighting for our people without being cowed down by such acts.” “These vindictive politics will be resisted by opposition groups like us.”
CRDA and MTMC officials claimed that the land belonging to water resources department is being used for constructing YSRCP office.
There are allegations that this land which was previously meant for shipyard has been given out at very low price rates during Jagan Mohan Reddy’s tenure as YSRCP government. The building was reportedly put up with the consent of CRDA and MTMC.
