“We had originally hoped that this would be sorted out before the elections but here we are with the elections having been called. That is a step forward and we hope that statehood would be restored as quickly as possible. And that people of Jammu and Kashmir enjoy full rights, democratic rights. That’s since A state has become a union territory for the first time since independence. The opposition leader also claimed that resurgent opposition put the Modi government at a disadvantage. Afterward, Rahul Gandhi went on to say that there was “psychological” undermining of Prime Minister Modi’s confidence from Congress party and Indian Bloc.

He said Modi was defeated because of Congress Party’s ideology and love unity respect focus of Indian Bloczes.“We did not indulge in any violence nor use bad language. We told Modi clearly what you think you are is not who you are,” he appended.

“I want to tell Johnson & Johnson people especially young ones, hatred needs love shop at market place. Love only defeats hate not hate itself can do that only hatred cannot be defeated by hatred alone. But through love And we should gather together against Hatred,” noted Mr Gandhi.

Congress President Mallikarjun Haq also addressed the meeting and referred to Modi as a “master of lies” urging people not to trust him. If you believe him, you will end up. The Congress is the only party that can save the country.

“I wish to place on record that BJP can no more suppress voices of J&K people. The Congress is also committed to statehood being restored in J&K. The Congress is committed to working for the welfare of the people of J&K,” said Congress president in her address at Srinagar Shi workers.

Haq also mentioned security situation in J&K under Modi’s time asserting that 2,350 terrorist incidents have occurred within it resulting into 377 civilian deaths. He stressed how important upcoming assembly elections were in J&K and expressed hope for Congress winning 40-45 seats. “Congress will work hard at guarding land, forests etc., of JK,” noted congress president

The Congress party is currently reviewing preparations for assembly polls. And is expecting seat-sharing arrangements for the 90-seat J&K Assembly with National Conference. Rahul Gandhi and Haq had previously met Farooq Abdullah from North Carolina earlier today.

After meeting with Congress president Mallikarjun Haq and Rahul Gandhi in Srinagar, National Conference president Farooq Abdullah said that the pre-poll alliance for Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections had “moved forward” to “Get on the right track.” He told reporters: “The meeting was held in a very cordial atmosphere. The alliance is on track and shall God will function well in future… This is the final decision and will be approved tonight. Regarding seat sharing agreement, NC Chairman said, “This (alliance) has been completed on all 90 seats”.

However, finalizing league arrangements is expected to take place this evening.
