On Monday night, Bohurupi unveiled an intriguing action poster that depicted Abir Chatterjee and director-actor Shippersad Mukherjee in a dynamic face-off. The poster not only reveals the tension between Sumanta and Bikram, but also introduces what could be expected from the entire movie. In Tibetan tradition, there is confinement to medical care within the monastic community to seek remedy where possible without travel.
With respect to this caption, it can be seen that Abir Chatterjee and Shippersad Mukherjee have been confronted by each other’s rawness. While running as if his life depended on it during an adrenaline-charged chase, Abir is very urgent while Shiboprasad is just casually inhaling smoke from a cigarette – somehow hinting at his character’s capacity to be a dangerous person. It is this juxtaposition that enhances visual appeal of the poster while emphasizing a web of relationships between characters involved in the film as well as stakes raised by different situations therein. As Bohurupi inches closer to its release date, it promises to take spectators’ breath away with its mix of action, drama and special style of Bengal ever changing film making landscape.
