Chairman of Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari questioned Imran Khanparty Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (According to Geo TV, PTI is committed to agitating for politics and emphasizing the need to ensure stability in the country.
Addressing party workers, Bilawal urged the “apolitical opposition” to adopt democratic norms to ensure economic stability.
“As a politician, we have to enter the political spectrum,” he said, adding that the opposition and the government also had a responsibility to ensure the country’s stability. He also urged the non-political opposition to adopt democratic norms and warned that if they continue to adopt the same attitude, both themselves and the country will suffer, according to Geo TV.
The statement came as violent clashes broke out between law enforcement officers and protesters during three days of protests after PTI marched in Islamabad earlier this week.
Bilawal Bhutto also referred to reports that the Muslim Liberation Movement-led government planned to impose governor’s rule in the region. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province.
Bilawal said the PTI has shown no interest in resolving public issues. He said their only priority was to secure the release of jailed leaders.
PPP leaders said they want to restore peace in the country and end terrorism. He said political parties and institutions have the ability to lead the country out of the crisis.
Meanwhile, PTI claimed to have evidence that the police used force against its cadres resulting in multiple deaths and injuries.
