Ben Affleck and his ex-wife Jennifer Garner celebrated Thanksgiving in true spirit. The former couple spent a day together giving back to the community, feeding approximately 2,000 people in need in Los Angeles. After helping those in need, Ben and Jennifer took the celebration to the latter’s home in the evening.
There were reports that “The Accountant” star Ben spent time with Garner and their three children – Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and 12-year-old – while he was going through his divorce from Jennifer Lopez. Samuel – spent the holidays together.
Sources reveal that Ben feels lucky to be with Garner, especially during the festive season. In front of his ex-wife, it’s easy for him to just be himself. A source told Page Six that “even though Ben and Jen have been broken up for some time, he feels a certain level of comfort with her.”
Amid the ups and downs of his divorce from Lopez, Ben was at ease with Garner. Although the former couple split a few years ago, they have a friendly bond and therefore support each other through thick and thin.
The source added: “Ben and Jen have a strong relationship that will never go away because they have a lot of history together and she’s the mother of his children.”
Sources say that despite their separation, Ben and Garner are close because they have children together, so that equation will never change.
Meanwhile, there were reports that Jennifer Lopez might join Ben and Jennifer Garner at the holiday festivities, but she didn’t.
On Friday, JLo shared a holiday post on her Insta-fam that read, “Beautiful and happy Thanksgiving,” and expressed her gratitude: “I’m so grateful to all of you.”
