The rape victim has been admitted to Lucknow’s Queen Mary Hospital for treatment. According to Sanjay Jain, the chief marketing officer of Ayodhya, she was taking to Lucknow because the women’s hospital in Ayodhya could not offer her enough assistance. Mr Jain added that a team of doctors will accompany her.
She is presently being observed by specialist consultants at the hospital. Spokesperson Professor Sudhir Singh said on Monday, “Her privacy has been taken care of accordingly”. According to Prof. Singh, “The girl reached KGMU approximately at 3pm… and her condition is stable.” Her basic examination was carried out by a team of medical experts” under their guidance.
Simultaneously MP Ayodhya Awadesh Prasad (sajwadi party) said “Let them hang these offenders”. The MP also said he had set up a high level committee in our party to probe into this case. And demanded security and compensation worth Rs 5 million for survivors and their families.
Last week TOI asked Tej Narain Pandey an SP spokesperson why there were no Pary members who visited the survivor or her family; his response was: “We are ready to send some delegation from SP to meet her parents but we fear this vengeance government.”
