India will not participate in the World Test Championship (world trade center) reached the final for the third consecutive time after failing in the fifth and final test Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia. Australia desperately needed a win to keep their slim hopes alive, but Australia crushed those chances with a 6-wicket victory in Sydney. Instead, Pat Cummins’ side reached their second successive final.
Defending champions Australia will face South Africa in the WTC finals at Lord’s Stadium from June 11 to 15, 2025. This will be the first time the World Trade Center final is held at Lord’s Stadium. The first final (2021) was held in Southampton, and the second final (2023) was held at the Oval, won by New Zealand and Australia respectively.

However, India lost 0-3 with Ajaz Patel (15 wickets) and Mitchell Santner (13 wickets) playing decisive roles for the visitors.
On this tour of Australia, the Indian team started confidently and won the first Test match in Perth by 295 runs. But in the next four Test matches, they struggled to achieve good results and eventually lost the series 3-1.
Australia won the Pink Ball Test by 10 wickets, the fourth MCG Test by 184 runs and finally the SCG Test by 6 wickets, the Gabba Test was drawn due to incessant rain.
