Actor couple Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza cast their votes at a polling station in Latu. The ‘Mauli’ actor took to his Instagram account to share a happy picture with his Janelia and wrote, “Voting is not just a right but a responsibility.”
Actor-director Hemant Dhome shared a picture of himself on his Instagram account, showing off his ink-stained fingers. Sharing the photo, Hemant wrote, “My point…for unity…for development…for a safe environment without fear! My vote is for the farmers…for the weaker sections! My vote is For communal reconciliation…for Maharashtra Dharma!
Director Navjyot Bandiwadekar of Gharat Ganpati fame shared a post on Instagram after voting in Mumbai. He wrote alongside a photo: “Take action today for a better tomorrow. Your vote matters, make it count!”
Actor and politician Urmila Matondkar also voted. She shared a photo on X showing her inked fingers and urged citizens to vote for “yourselves, your children, your society and your Maharashtra”. Please vote 🗳️🙏🏻 for yourself, your children, your society and your #Maharashtra ✊🏻🚩”
