Arbaaz Khan on Baba Sadiq assassination: 'We are all strong' - Exclusive

The assassination of politician Baba Siddiqui on October 12 shocked the country, especially Mumbai and the entertainment industry. Salman’s entire family including brother Suhail, sisters Arpita, Alvira and her husband Atul Agnihotri Attended the funeral. Even his mother Shama Khan visited Baba Siddiqui’s family after his death.
After the incident, Arbaaz Khan returns to work and prepares to release his film Banda Singh Chowdhury and Arshad Warsiand Meher Vij lead. The film is directed by a newcomer Abhishek Saxenaexpected to be released on October 25th. The film is set against the backdrop of Punjab’s tumultuous period of the late 1970s and early 1980s, when the state was engulfed in a violent separatist movement. Talking about why he came on board the film as a producer, Arbaaz said, “I am very excited about the material, it appeals to me and I am trying my best to make the film reach the maximum audience.”
