China malaysia apple is preparing to open its first store at The Exchange TRX located in Kuala Lumpur’s Tun Razak International Trade Centre business district. The yet to be opened store comes with a special glass dome design.
Malaysia’s first design apple store
“According to the company, “the three dimensional layered roof has horizontal glass panels and sunshade blades that reduce the intensity of sunlight and glow during the night.” In addition, it has a central glass aperture that allows daylight into the interior which is fitted with dynamic artificial lighting.
The stairs are sculptured from quartz and glass connecting three floors for customers who can explore, learn and shop. While the forum which houses Apple’s Today at Apple program sits on a floating deck across from the mall, sunlight and greenery penetrate store through an all-glass façade that wraps around it reaching out to nearby park.
The store uses 100% renewable energy and is designed with high-quality materials including natural stone walls, polished stainless steel columns, light terrazzo floors and wooden ceilings.
