Earlier reports also suggest that Apple is working on a Foldable iPad with rumors of its release scheduled for 2025.
What to expect from an Apple foldable MacBook
Kuo recently posted about this on X and revealed that Apple had scrapped the rumored 20.25-inch display design plan for its foldable MacBook which he said they were now looking at an 18.8-inch panel instead.
Kuo had predicted as early as May that two display sizes were under consideration by Apple implying a 13 inch & a 14 inch folding laptop each.
He further mentioned that the schedule for mass-producing these foldable MacBooks was experiencing delays because of display and mechanical component technical issues faced by the company. He added that manufacturing was originally slated to begin in H1:26, but this might be postponed until late or even beyond into Q4:27/28.
Apple foldable iPad: Things to look forward to
Even though Kuo believes that Apple’s anticipated foldable MacBook will be released in the coming years, his investigation found no proof regarding earlier claimed models of foldable iPads. There have been previous reports claiming that there could be plans for folding tablet by apple in 2025.
But Ming-Chi-Kuo did not deny a chance of unveiling an I-pad capable of bending but lack of any relevant data within supply chain implies most likely such product wouldn’t come soon to market. He also thinks some people may confuse the two devices; thus, it may cause perplexity between these two things analysts believe which Ming Chi Kuo noted while arguing with industry insiders who keep saying confusingly about their expectations from first ever Mac Books having bending screens.
