Andhra woman receives package with body, demand letter for Rs 13 crore

The incident occurred in yandagandi village when a woman calls Naga Tulsi open her from Kshatriya Seva Samiti. According to a post shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Tulsi had applied for financial assistance from Samithi to build her house and received tiles as part of the assistance. She was recently told she would receive electrical appliances, including lights, fans and switches. Thereafter, a box was delivered to Tulsi’s doorstep claiming it contained the promised electrical appliances. After opening the package, she was surprised to find human remains A ransom note demanding Rs 13 crore was also attached.

The incident caused an uproar in society. After discovering the contents of the package, the woman alerted her family and the police. Currently, relevant departments are investigating the matter and hunting down the perpetrators.

Local police’s statement on the package incident

The body, believed to be that of a 45-year-old man, has been transferred to a government hospital for an autopsy. The police have opened a case and are investigating the incident. Regional Police Inspector General Adnan Nayeem Asmi traveled to the village to oversee the investigation.
Authorities are working to identify the person who delivered the package and have summoned representatives of the Kshatriya Seva Samithi for questioning.
Police suspect that the man may have died four or five days ago and are currently investigating the possibility of homicide. They are also verifying Missing Persons Complaint from a nearby police station.
