According to the Kashmir district police, an incident happened on Saturday between security forces and unknown individuals in Sopore Watergam area of Jammu and Kashmir.
They said that there were immediate counter-shots from alert security personnel soon after the incident and that security forces cordoned off the area.
Search operations are going on as more details about this incident are still awaited.
