The Department of Education has requested judicial advice on freezing the bank accounts of and examining money laundering allegations against producers and distributors of this motion picture.

An Enforcement Case Information Report (ECIR) got registered against movie makers subsequently for the purpose. Notices have been sent to producers like Soubin Shahir, Babu Shahir and Shawn Antony asking them to appear before investigators. They were later rushed to emergency room where both Soubin and Sean are known to have faced questioning.
