RCB exited the Indian Cricket League in 2024, after which Ambati Rayudu Angered RCB and its supporters by making some comments about Rajasthan Royals defeated by them at the knockout round on Friday Chennai Super Kings (CSK). The batsman also took to social media with yet another snipe.
“I feel so sorry for all those fans who stood behind RCB for many years. Perhaps if only the management and leaders were less personal milestone conscious in their actions, rcb would have won multiple championships,” said Rayudu in his Facebook post.
It is good to note that Virat Kohli is a prominent figure among the top run-getters this season with 741 runs from fifteen innings but has never won an IPL trophy since seventeen seasons he played with RCB’s colours.
“Just remember how many great players have been fired. Urge your management for bringing players who will focus on team interests first. A strong new beginning can start from big auction,” Rayudu advised RCB management on his Facebook page.
Rayudu retired in 2023 following CSK’s last title winning season. This made it CSK’s record-tying fifth IPL title, matching Mumbai Indians’ five victories.
