Day after more than 25 officials, among them the top 20 legal person to grow further from Pimpri Chinchwad. After leaving NCP and joining Sharad Pawar group, deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar stepped in to stem the damage. He met the remaining members of his political party on Thursday in Pune where he also promised to meet every individual or groups of the party members on July 21st.
The meeting was confirmed as well with Ajit Pawar having one at Pimpri Chinchwad assembly on July 21.
According to Senior NCP official Bhausaheb Bhoir, “Ajitdada” said that a decision will be made concerning a new president for Pimpri Chinchwad office together with party workers.”
Yogesh Bahal, official spokesperson of NCP Pimpri Chinchwad, said: “Ajidada told everyone that according to the agreement with the BJP’s Devendra Fadnavis and Maharashtra Discussions amongst other Hayuti alliance members observed that sitting MLAs would be left undisturbed by the Assembly polls.
On Civic poll front line, Ajit Pawar had said senior leader Mahayudhi will take a call whether they will contest alone. He further added how decision can be taken for forming an alliance after results are out.
