Telangana is now experiencing a really interesting political combat. With several exit polls showing that the ruling Congress party and Bharatiya Janata Party will have a hard time. But unfortunately BJP will be defeated badly according to the exit polls, which will be decided by Tuesday’s ballot.
The outcome in the state would show whether Modi factor has an edge over the domineering Congress party. A win for Ravansh Reddy who is presently CM of Telangana state, would strengthen his position at the top. For the BJP, winning a majority is crucial as it views this state as one of its key bastions. For BRS and former CM K Chandrasekhar Rao doing well in this LS seat is crucial to remain on political chess board.
34 centers across the state shall initiate counting by 8 am and trends may be available by 11 am.
In addition to LS counting, votes cast during the bye-election held for Secunderabad Cantonment assembly segment would also start being count at 8 am. During LS elections conducted on May 13th turnout was record at 66.3% in Telangana State.

BJP secured only 13.9% in votes cast during the last Assembly elections held in 2023 as compared to just 6.9% recorded in those held in 1998. However, it attracted an increased vote share of 19.5% during LS polls for 2019 thereby clinching 4seats.
Modi wave is what BJP bets on in conjunction with Ram temple that was built at Ayodhya by them recently. Even BJP president Kishan Reddy is seeking re-election from here. Similarly Khammam, Chevella and Malkajgiri top seats to watch out for. Everything required for results including safety and counting personnel done by election authorities has bee put into place.
