Moreover, this aligns with what S Jaishankar described as the fundamental differences between previous governments’ approach towards foreign policies vis-à-vis present situations. He said: “That earlier era is behind us; we are now an India first.”
PM Modi is visiting Russians at a time when Russian-Ukrainian War Continues for three years now.
Since this war broke out, India has sought balance between Russia’s relationship with Ukraine by repeating calls for “a peaceful settlement through dialogue.”
