Use healthy substitutes instead

Just by replacing regular salts with healthier ones such as rock salts or pink Himalayan its will help reduce amount of sodium consumed daily making this an easy way to eat less salty foods.

Choose Unpackaged ingredients

To minimize the level of sodium intake into your system one should avoid these pre-packaged foods since they contain additives rich in sodium content plus preservatives.

Add In Citrus ingredients

Acidic components similar lemon juice vinegar and even citrus zest would help bring out a blend within a given meal hence reducing reliance on added table salt. Add some lemon juice or vinegar in salads, marinades soups sauces dressings etc., it won’t increase sodium levels though tastes better.

Add potatoes

One way of reducing salt in curries soups and stews is to add potatoes to the curry which helps absorb too much this naturally and also balances the flavor.

Curd

The other way of reducing excess salt from your food intake without affecting its taste and texture is by using curd, which also helps in the absorption of this.
