Srishti Kumari, a six-year-old girl, died in the road accident fire that razed their house in Bihar. They lived in Begusarai where she raised an alarm to her siblings and saved them from the inferno.
As per the reports, Srishti and her sister Shoba The following morning, on 7th date of occurrence, a fire started. Their parents were not around as they were at work.
Afterwards, the two sisters also informed Mausam (12), Priyanshu aged under 10 and Rajbabu about it. The other kids managed to run outside but Srishti’s foot got tangled into a bicycle wheel near the threshold while leaving. Villagers tried to rescue her in vain; the whole house was consumed by fire along with two goats.
However SHO Omprakash of Matihani said that they were yet to establish what caused it though preliminary investigations indicated that it might have been due to kerosene lamp.
