NAGPUR: A 40-year-old employee HCL Technologies die from cardiac arrest in the washroom of the company’s office in Nagpur, Maharashtra, officials confirmed on Sunday. Authorities said the incident happened on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Nitin Edwin MichaelAccording to police, he was a senior analyst at the company.
“The man was found unconscious after entering the washroom of the Mihan district corporation office around 7 pm on Friday,” an official from Sonegaon police station said.
His colleagues rushed him to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Nagpur, where doctors declared him dead on arrival, the official added.
Sonegaon police registered a case accidental death and sent the body for autopsy. Preliminary autopsy results indicate that Michael died of cardiac arrest.
Police are investigating the circumstances of his death. Authorities said Michael is survived by his wife and a six-year-old son.
