Panaji: Corvalle police Hayden Fernandez was arrested Monday on suspicion of stabbing 32-year-old Revola resident Alistair Plikar.
The incident happened on Sunday night.Fernandez allegedly beat Plikal outside his home after returning from a football match.
After the neighbor learned about the incident through the victim’s mother, he called the police ambulance Prikar was transferred to a medical facility and a formal complaint was lodged with the Corvalle police station.
The defendant and victim lived in the same area and the attack was prompted by past events hostilitythe police said.
Prikal is currently receiving treatment for his injury General Motors Corporation.
