Kottayam: Sreekutty, a 19-year-old woman from Chawla in Colon district, has been arrested for allegedly sexually abusing a 16-year-old boy in Vallikunnan in Alappuzha district. She was detained by the Vallikunnam police on Friday and remanded to judicial custody by the Harippad court.
According to police, they went missing on December 1 and were arrested from Pathanamthitta bus stand on December 25. Nepal and Malappuram. The boy claimed he was sexually abused at all of these locations.
The case was registered based on a complaint filed by the victim’s mother. Police investigation revealed that Srikutty was previously in a live-in relationship with a Wayanad man whom she met through social media. Later she became romantically involved with a chawla.
Srikutty’s relatives settled her in a relative’s house in Valikunam to end her romance with the Chawla. However, she allegedly forced the 16-year-old boy to elope with her. Most of them stayed in public places in search of work and were arrested in Pathanamthitta.
