New Delhi: About 1,600 iPhone worth 120 million rupees yes stolen from a truck sagar district, madhya pradeshexplain police on Sunday. Preliminary investigations indicate that security personnel accompanying the truck were involved.
The truck was reportedly traveling from Gurugram in Haryana to Chennai when it was attacked. The security guard suspected of gathering some accomplices to subdue the driver.
Pramod Verma, superintendent of police, Sagar district, said: “We have received information that 1,600 iPhones worth Rs 12 crore have been looted… The accused is said to be a security guard… We have formed a team and are working on Take action.
Verma further explained, “The container was heading to Chennai from Gurgaon in Haryana. The guard called some accomplices and overpowered the driver.”
The investigation is ongoing and further details are awaited.
