So far, Ravindra Jadeja has not contributed much with the bat and ball in T20 World Cup, but he saves runs on the field and takes some great catches.
Jadeja took 2 catches at deep, while saving more than a couple of runs for India as they began their Super Eights campaign on positive note by defeating Afghanistan by 47 runs on Thursday.
In the 17th over, Kuldeep Yadav’s Mohammad Nabi catch was taken at deep midwicket area by Jadeja before Arshdeep Singh added to his wickets when he had Afghanistan captain Rashid Khan caught at third man boundary line.
The link which contained a video from BCCI’s official X handle was shared with Indian cricket board showing fielding coach T Dilip presenting ‘fielder of the match medal’ in Indian dressing room after this match.

After the medal presentation ceremony in Barbados on Thursday night, the Indian cricket team flew to Antigua for the Bangladesh match on Saturday.
