The USA is going to co-host the ICC 2024 T20 World Cup with Pakistan, and their first match will be against them at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas on June 6. Beforehand, Babar Azam’s men are busy training to harden for the world title defense.
The players have been involved in gruelling sessions where they seem to have enjoyed themselves. The skipper nicknamed Azam Khan as a joke of his father Moin Khan who is one of the greatest cricketers that Pakistan has produced.
In one of Pakistan’s training videos, it seems like Babar said ‘Gainda’ or rhino while looking at bulky Khan.
“Aye gainda nai siddha hoya,” Babar teasingly remarked about Khan.

Pakistan were champions in 2009 before their semi-final appearance in 2021 and runner-up finish towards England in 2022 among recent editions of the tournament.
Pakistan falls under Group A of this year’s World Cup. Following their game against the US, Pakistan will take on India who are their arch-rivals; this match takes place on June 9th in New York City.
As for records, out of seven previous encounters between Pakistan and India during T20 World Cup championships, only once did Pakistan win.
