During voting season, there are some important details that every voter should be aware of.

During voting season, there are some important details that every voter should be aware of.

The main constituencies for the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections are Gandhinagar in Gujarat, Guna, Vidisha and Rajgarh in Madhya Pradesh, Baramati in Maharashtra, and Bahar in West Bengal Rampur, Mainpuri in Uttar Pradesh and Dharwad in Karnataka.

Voting for the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections is currently underway, covering 10 states and one Union Territory.

This year’s voting will be held in seven phases, with the first phase taking place on April 19 and the second phase on April 26. , the sixth phase will be carried out on May 25, and the seventh phase will be carried out on June 1.

The main constituencies for the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections are Gandhinagar in Gujarat, Guna, Vidisha and Rajgarh in Madhya Pradesh, Baramati in Maharashtra, and Bahar in West Bengal Rampur, Mainpuri in Uttar Pradesh and Dharwad in Karnataka.

Here are some important details every voter should pay attention to:

Documents required for voting

People whose names are on the electoral roll can vote in elections.

  • Voter ID
  • driver’s license
  • passport
  • Adharka
  • Panka
  • MNREGA Job Card
  • Smart Card issued by RGI under NPR
  • Passbook with photo issued by a national bank or post office
  • Photo Service Identity Card issued to employees by Central/State Government/PSU/Public Limited Company
  • Pension document with photo
  • Health insurance smart card issued under the Ministry of Labor program
  • Official ID card issued to MP/MP/MLC, etc.

How to check your name on the electoral roll?

You can check your name on the electoral roll by following these steps:

  • Go to https:electoralsearch.eci.gov.in
  • Enter your state and select your preferred language
  • Fill in the details – name, date of birth, gender
  • Select your constituency and parliamentary constituency
  • Enter the verification code and click Search

How to find your polling place?

You can find your polling place by following these steps:

  • Visit https:electoralsearch.eci.gov.in
  • You’ll see three ways to check your polling station (see below)

Search by details

i) Enter your state and select your preferred language

ii) Fill in the details – name, date of birth, gender

iii) Select your constituency and parliamentary constituency

iv) Enter the verification code and click Search

Search via EPIC/Voter ID Card

a) Select language

b) Fill in your EPIC number/voter ID card details

c) Select status

d) Enter the verification code and click Search

Search via mobile

  • Select status
  • Choose a language
  • Fill in mobile phone number
  • Enter the OTP you received on your mobile number
  • Enter the verification code and click Search
