India’s cricket captain, Virat Kohli, was really annoyed when a fan called him “Chokli” while he was in the midst of a practice session with his fellow team members in Sri Lanka.
As he was fully occupied by his training, the fan shouted “Chokli-Chokli” which interrupted him. He immediately turned around and gave the fan a displeased look.
Virat arrived in Sri Lanka on Monday morning for their three ODIs against the hosts.
Since it rained heavily in Colombo, they decided to call off the first practice session. Nonetheless, Virat attended his first net session since the end of T20 World Cup.
Now that 2025 Champions Trophy is just seven months away, joint favorite Virat will be expected to give everything and show-off his best performance aiming at yet another ICC trophy.
After retiring from T20Is having won India’s victory at T20 World Cup, Virat has so far played 53 ODIs against Sri Lanka wherein he has scored an impressive 2594 runs with an average of 63.26 including ten centuries and twelve half centuries.
