However, new pictures from Barbados seem not to be about the Indian team T20 World Cup victory parade but about hurricane Beryl that has affected the Caribbean city leading to closure of the airport and delaying the returning T20 winners.
On social media platform ‘X’, there is a video from which shows a downpour in the city along with heavy winds resulting into flight cancellations and complete close-down of the town.
The caption reads; “Hurricane hits Barbados, airport shut down until further order. Curfew imposed in the city from 6 pm, all stores and offices shut down. Team India and media from India stuck in Barbados as all flights cancelled.”
