In a T20 World Cup Group C match of already-eliminated sides played at the Brian Lara Stadium, Tarouba, Trinidad on Tuesday, Uganda was hammered by New Zealand by nine wickets.
Tim Southee managed figures of 3/4 and Trent Boult took 2/7 as Uganda slumped for meager 40 in 18.4 overs.
New Zealand then raced to 40 runs in just 5.2 overs losing only one wicket in the process.
Uganda’s total of 40 all out is the third lowest team score in T20 World Cup history.
