Tuesday’s T20 World Cup match between England and Scotland at Bridgetown, Barbados was called off due to intermittent rain, resulting in both teams getting rewarded with a point each.
The game started as a 10 overs a side encounter with Scotland making an impressive 90 for zero loss of wickets in their innings. England were given a revised target of 109 runs from the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern method which stated how many runs they had to score in 10 overs.
Throughout their innings, Scottish openers Michael Jones and George Munsey showcased an assortment of delightful strokes that kept the English bowlers on the back foot throughout.
Jones remained unbeaten on 45 off just two sixes and four fours coming from his bowling while Munsey ended unbeaten on 41 off four boundaries for the same number of balls.
Munsey had little bit fortune when Mark Wood overstepped after dismissing him it seemed like skipper Jos Buttler would take an excellent catch behind him.
