On Wednesday evening, a shooting occurred in Philadelphia leading to wounding of seven people according to police reports.
The shooting took place at approximately half past six in North Philadelphia.
The victims include a young man, aged 19, with a bullet lodged in his right thigh; a 31-year-old woman whose finger was hit; a 23-year-old man who escaped A bullet lodged in his right buccal area, and two women aged 47 and 29 years respectively who were shot on their thighs,’ says police.
A sixteen year old girl with only minor injuries of two scrapes was treated for two grazes, according to police. An eighteen year old teenager also got injured during the shooting, authorities said.
All of them are currently said to be in stable conditions after the occurrence police have said.
Investigators still had no more details available at press time. At least there were no weapons found at the scene and no arrests have been made yet as per authorities.
