Amidst charges of molestation against Governor CV Dr Ananda Bose of West Bengal by a female worker, Raj Bhavan says it will release relevant CCTV footage to “politician” Mamata Banerjee and “her police”.
Later that day, the police demanded the Governor’s office to release appropriate CCTV video. However, the Governor instructed his staff not to cooperate with them.
His performance, ‘SACH KE SAAMNE’ was launched by Governor Bose as a result of mischief and trumped-up charges against Raj Bhavan which is presently under investigation by the police for having illegal and unconstitutional CCTV footage.
Therefore, it requested people who are willing to attend the program at Raj Bhavan to send their requisition through email or phone and the first 100 people will be permitted inside the governor’s residence on Thursday morning for a viewing session.
According to a post on Facebook written Thursday night by an unidentified person who said they were speaking on behalf of Mr. Bose : “CCTV footage can be seen by any citizen of West Bengal except politician Mamata Banerjee and her police force as the stand they have taken is in public domain.” Friday , in her written complaint submitted before Kolkata Police by a female contract employee of Raj Bhavan alleged that she had been molested inside The Governor’s House.
Bose referred this accusation as ‘absurd drama’ while Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s politics he called ‘dirty’.
