In a bad turn of events, Babar Azam, the captain of Pakistan’s cricket team, was spotted shouting at fans who wanted to take selfies with him. Later on, he sought the help of security guards in driving away these fans.
It is apparently from Cardiff because it shows an irritated Babar being followed and surrounded by fans on the road.
Babar seems to be constantly annoyed even though he was under protection from some few security personnel due to unceasing requests for gatherings and photos.
“Minutes doge? Sar par nahi chado,” (Give me some minutes. Don’t jump on me.), said Babar before he told his guards to remove those supporters.
Nevertheless, Babar was happy enough to pose for pictures later.
Currently Pakistan are presently in England playing a 4-match T20I series leading up to the T20 World Cup in America.
Pakistan lost their second game after Leeds opener got rained out of play.
The third and fourth games will take place in Cardiff on May 28 and London on May 30 respectively.
As a result, Pakistan’s preparation for the T20 World Cup has been chaotic with Shaheen Shah Afridi being replaced as captain three months ago by Babar Azam who did not know whether or not he would be playing much less captaining his country at any level until very recently.
They squeaked a 2-2 draw against New Zealand depleted side in April before losing their first game against Ireland at Dublin only to fight back and win that series 2-1 thereafter this year
Pakistan is placed along with India, United States (one of the co-hosts), Canada and Ireland in Group A for the T20 World Cup. The top two sides will qualify into Super Eight stage that takes place in West Indies culminating with its finals taking place Barbados on June 29.
