Sanju Samson, the Indian wicketkeeper-batter, is presently enjoying his break from cricket after their tour of Sri Lanka. Because of a ball game on a basketball court he was seen on a viral video.
The batsman-cum-glove man has used the vacation from his cricketing duties to play another game. Despite the fact that it is a basketball court, Samson and co adapted to it, showing how flexible they are in relation to their love for the game.
Samson had a forgettable outing in the last T20I series against Sri Lanka. In these two games that he played, he could not get off the mark as he recorded consecutive ducks.
He was not included in India’s three-match ODI series with Sri Lanka.
Despite being named in India’s victorious 2024 T20 World Cup squad, Sanju Samson did not have any opportunity to display his talents on the field of play.
Throughout this tournament Pant served as India’s first choice wicket keeper batsman hence leaving Samson benched.
Samson recently posted about being omitted from the Indian One Day team for some time now on social media platform Instagram (or showed his disappointment)
“I will only go and play whenever they decide me.” That is it! Ultimately even our team is doing well. I am more of an “other person” kind who believes there are higher purposes behind everything. I just try to take things positively under control-able circumstances and put up efforts,” Samson said during the Kerala Cricket League launch.”
