2024 has not been a great year for Sidharth Malhotra. The only film he did well in the last EIGHT years was the Amazon’s Shershaah. This year, his Yodha which is much delayed and produced by Dharma Productions turned out to be a non-starter. It is also being reported that Karan Johar has no intentions of working with his Student Of The Year protégé again.
We have heard that Sidharth is not part of Meghna Gulzar’s next project any longer. It appears that negotiations collapsed after Sidharth demanded payment that the producers were unwilling to meet.
At present Sidharth has just one more movie: Uttarakhand set action film titled Mitti by Balwinder Singh Janjua.
Janjua was reluctant to say much about the project “This is an action drama based in Uttarakhand. It is all about guilt; carrying the burden of guilt with you always. It’s saving your home and your zameen, your mitti. Family aur rishton ki hai ye kahani.”
